About Da Vinci Labs

Deep tech innovation at the service of the planet — where scientific breakthroughs meet collective wisdom to create lasting impact.

Mission

At Da Vinci Labs, we support those who dare to imagine a better future.

As an incubator and accelerator dedicated to deep tech innovation, we work alongside scientists and entrepreneurs developing solutions at the frontiers of quantum technologies, artificial intelligence, and synthetic biology. Our mission is to contribute to a positive and lasting impact for the planet and for future generations. We know that technology alone won’t solve today’s ecological and societal crises.

In the face of urgent challenges, two visions often compete: one places its hopes entirely in new technologies; the other calls for a return to simpler, low-tech approaches rooted in existing knowledge. We believe the way forward lies in finding balance between innovation and sobriety, between scientific breakthroughs and collective wisdom.

Methodology

We believe that scientific excellence and entrepreneurial vision must work hand in hand.

Our methodology combines the structured venture-building approach of a startup studio with deep expertise in public and private innovation funding. We identify promising scientific discoveries, help shape them into impactful business ideas, and provide tailored support throughout their journey — from ideation to incubation, acceleration, and scaling.

This hybrid model allows us to address both the technological and financial challenges that deep tech founders face, while ensuring that innovation remains aligned with long-term societal and environmental goals.

Team

Our team includes scientists, grant advisors, startup builders, science communicators, and designers — all working at the intersection of deep tech and societal impact.

Rooted in scientific rigor and driven by humanist values, we believe in listening deeply, thinking boldly, and building responsibly. Together, we form a committed, multilingual, and mission-driven team ready to support those shaping a better future. We are physicists, biologists, engineers, and entrepreneurs.

Some of us have built startups and raised millions in public funding; others have spent years in research labs, turning complex science into real-world solutions. With expertise ranging from quantum computing and synthetic biology to artificial intelligence and sustainability, we understand the challenges innovators face — and we walk alongside them, from the lab bench to the market.

Careers

We are building more than startups — we’re shaping a future where science and innovation serve the planet and society.

Joining our team means working at the intersection of deep tech, sustainability, and collective intelligence, alongside passionate researchers, entrepreneurs, and strategists. Whether you're guiding a quantum startup toward market, co-designing a synthetic biology venture, or helping secure public funding for AI-based climate solutions, your work will have tangible, long-term impact.

We’re always looking for people who want to work with purpose, challenge assumptions, and turn bold ideas into real-world solutions.

Let’s Work Together

What we offer

  • A mission-driven environment, where impact is as important as innovation

  • Multidisciplinary projects at the cutting edge of AI, quantum technologies, and synthetic biology

  • Hybrid roles combining strategy, science, and venture creation

  • A collaborative and supportive team culture, rooted in intellectual curiosity

Partners

We are deeply embedded in the Centre-Val de Loire innovation ecosystem, working hand in hand with regional partners to nurture a new generation of deep tech talent.

We collaborate closely with C-VaLo, the regional technology transfer office, to transform scientific breakthroughs into real-world applications, and with Pépite Centre-Val de Loire, to support student entrepreneurs in transforming their ideas into startups. In 2026, Da Vinci Labs will launch the Da Vinci Launchpad. This programme is supported by the regional France 2030 initiative, made possible with the support of the Centre-Val de Loire Region and the French State, and coordinated by Bpifrance. We also proudly contribute to the CMI in Quantum Technologies at the University of Tours — a pioneering program that trains tomorrow’s quantum engineers with a unique combination of academic excellence and entrepreneurial mindset.

Together, we’re building a fertile ground where scientific research, education, and innovation meet. We are also connected to the global deep tech landscape. As a founding partner of Quantum Launchpad, we help shape France’s national strategy for early-stage quantum entrepreneurship. We are also a member of the European Quantum Industry Consortium, contributing to the coordination of Europe’s quantum ecosystem and industrial roadmap. These collaborations allow us to connect local initiatives with global opportunities — fostering knowledge exchange, startup mobility, and ambitious cross-border projects.
